If your device is not listed above, it does not mean it will not work. It does mean however, that you will be amongst the pioneers to try it out. Let us know how it went.
On the other hand, the fact that your device is listed above, does not mean that it will work. There may be issues caused by operator branding or due to old firmware. If your device is listed and it does not work - let us know.

| 2. Give more permissions to the program. |
Or: How to get rid of the annoying "Allow this and that" prompts?
Running the application makes often annoying prompts at startup, like
"Allow application to read user data?", "Allow application to use network?".
Because Geocaching Live software is signed by a trusted third-party developer (us :),
it's possible to fully disable these prompts.
For example, for a Nokia device it can be done here:
Phone menu -> Applications -> App.Manager -> GeocachingLive -> Select:Open
| We recommend the following settings: |
| Network access | Ask first time | (For realtime caches, tracking and maps) |
| Read user data | Always allowed | (For offline maps) |
| Positioning | Always allowed | (For getting your GPS position) |
| Multimedia | Always allowed | (For taking pictures) |
Geocaching Live doesn't use any other restricted access.
|
| 3. Using the program |

After installation, just click the Geocaching Live application icon to start up the program

| Create offline maps for use with Geocaching Live |
Normally, Geocaching Live downloads the maps over the internet. Especially, when travelling abroad this may prove expensive as the foreign network operator can have significantly higher charges for the data access.
To overcome this problem we created a PC version of the Geocaching Live. It can be used to create offline maps - maps that are stored on your memory card instead of downloading them from the internet.
This dramatically reduces the downloaded data amount on your phone.
Creating offline maps is simple. Just start the application by hitting the button below. Enter your GC Live username and password. To start creating maps, hit the red REC button and follow the instructions.
Java Webstart requires at least Java 1.5 installed. Get the latest release here.
